Lia to the Rescue

A finished example. One photo of Lia became a storybook character, and she became the star of every page.

Lia loved fire trucks and the people who helped others. That day she was visiting the station with a huge smile, ready to learn something new.

Suddenly an alarm rang through the whole station. A map appeared on the screen with important news: a little kitten needed help.

The fire truck set off quickly, but very carefully. Lia watched out of the window, ready for a real rescue.

4. Page 4

A little girl pointed up at the roof of her house. “My kitten is up there!” she said. “And she can't get down.”

5. Page 5

With the firefighter's help, Lia climbed slowly up the ladder. One step. Then another. No rushing.

6. Page 6

Lia spoke in a soft, calm voice. The kitten looked at her, felt safe, and let her pick her up.

Very soon the kitten was back in her owner's arms. The little girl smiled. And so did Lia.

To say thank you, the girl gave Lia a special drawing. In it there was a happy kitten, a very tall ladder, and someone very brave at the top.
