Pochy's First Day at School

   Pochy held onto the straps of his backpack with both hands. The school door looked very, very big.

   Inside, a girl with wild curls slid across the carpet to make room. “You can sit here,” she said. “I'm Nora. I'm too.”

   By home time Pochy had painted a dragon, learned a song about rain, and made a friend. The door did not look big at all any more.
